Stephanie is a certified internal auditor and has served as District Advisor for the midwest region of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Her 12-year career as an audit practitioner includes managing Sarbanes-Oxley testing, reporting, and co-ordination at Compass Minerals, plus several years running teams and projects for insurance companies. Stephanie now applies her experience as the Head of Ideagen Internal Audit and Risk Management platforms.
Amanda Whitbrook has worked in the field of AI and machine learning for over 15 years, both in academia (University of Nottingham, Loughborough University, University of Derby) and industry (BAE Systems, Ideagen).
She has worked on a diverse number of projects including novel artificial immune systems for robotic navigation, data fusion techniques for situational awareness, novel multi-agent task allocation systems, OCR for engineering drawings, and NLP to enhance customer experience for legislation software.
Amanda holds a BSc (Hons) in mathematics and physics from Nottingham Trent University, an MSc in the management of IT from the University of Nottingham and a PhD in applied mathematics from Nottingham Trent University.
