SGS uses Pentana Audit for their global internal audit operations

SGS adopted Pentana Audit software from Ideagen as it looks to enhance the corporate internal auditing of its business processes across 2,400 offices and laboratories globally. Being a Pentana customer for more than 8 years, SGS decided to upgrade to Pentana Audit to help its internal audit function to better and more efficiently manage audits, risks, controls and field work.

The system provides data for all SGS offices. Different audit cycles and SGS business processes are placed into Pentana Audit, as well as last audit results, to automatically provide proposals for audit coverage and a complete risk and control visualisation. A global risk has been set up to rank all SGS operations. The system is used also to pull easily audit result data so they can be presented to SGS management and board.
