Ideagen wins ‘Best Use of AIM’ market award
The UK-based, global software firm was recognised for its performance strategy on the London Stock Exchange sub-market
Ideagen has won ‘Best Use of AIM’ at the annual ‘AIM Awards’ ceremony, sponsored by BDO.
The company, which is headquartered in Nottingham but which has operational premises across the globe, fought off competition from several organisations to win.
Ideagen’s strong organic growth and strategic acquisition strategy – it has completed 18 in just seven years – helped sway the judges’ decision.
It is the second time in four years the company has been successful in the ‘Best Use of AIM’ category, having been previous winners in 2015.
David Hornsby, Ideagen’s Executive Chairman (pictured above), said: “This is a great achievement by Ideagen and one that truly recognises the business and how AIM has supported our growth since 2012.
“To be nominated is an achievement in itself, so to actually win is outstanding and a real testament to our success on AIM.
“The ‘Best Use of AIM’ award recognises companies that have a clear growth strategy in place and can demonstrate a consistent execution of that strategy. The award recognises our achievements to date and is evidence of the confidence that the panel has in our future success.
“We are delighted to accept this award, and we look forward to many more successful years’ as we continue our growth on the AIM market.”
The Aim Awards – which hosts more than 1,000 representatives of AIM-quoted companies, NOMADS (nominated advisers), brokers, accountants, lawyers and other corporate partners, making it the largest AIM gathering in the City – took place on Thursday, October 10th at Old Billingsgate in London.
Sponsored by Winterflood Securities, the ‘Best Use of AIMS’ category was arguably the hardest to predict, with strong competition from the other nominated companies. However, Ideagen’s continuous growth on AIM and its use of the market to secure key acquisitions, saw the company recognised at this year’s ceremony.
