Saudi Ground Services Company choose Ideagen to improve safety, quality & security management
SGS will implement Ideagen’s Q-Pulse software across 27 locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Saudi Ground Services Company (SGS), the leading ground handling services company in Saudi Arabia, is enhancing safety, quality and security management across the Kingdom using software from Ideagen.
Ideagen Q-Pulse has replaced a series of manual and paper systems currently in use by SGS to maintain compliance to internal standards and certifications.
Q-Pulse will become SGS’ electronic centralised management system, helping 27 SGS locations in the Kingdom to streamline document creation and control, audit management and provide functionality for non-conformance, deviation and analysis.
Fawzi Milibari, Quality Specialist at Saudi Ground Services, said: “We are looking to improve our safety, quality and security operations and, with Q-Pulse, we now have an electronic centralised management system in place. Not only will we see safety, quality and security process benefits, the system will be the catalyst to the removal of our previous existing disparate, silo-driven systems.
“The tools utilised by the company and its quality and safety team were manually managed and maintained, such as paper hard copies of documentation or information.
“As is the case with any manually driven setup, the systems in place were more difficult to maintain and required much more time and resource dedicated towards them.
“Q-Pulse will be rolled out to 27 locations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and will be the system of choice for Saudi Ground Services as we enhance our safety, quality and security operations.”
SGS provides handling services at all commercial airports in the Kingdom including all aspects of ground services required by airlines including passenger services, ramp services, fleet services, technical services, transportation services and traffic.
Throughout Saudi in 2017, SGS provided ground handling services to over 100 different airlines covering more than 350,000 flights and handled over 87.5 million passengers.
Mr Milibari added: “Q-Pulse will streamline the process for document creation and control, audit management and to provide functionality for non-conformance, deviation and analysis.”
