Ideagen serves up support for UK tennis talent at Australian Open
Nottingham-UK headquartered global software company, Ideagen, are celebrating after the talented tennis star they supported to get to the Australian Open, Aidan Moody (20), finished runner-up in the competition.
Aidan, who lives in Glasgow, was runner-up in the Men’s Doubles for Players with Intellectual Impairments (PWII) Championships.
Ideagen, who are already shirt sleeve sponsors of Premier League football club Nottingham Forest, had the privilege of being Aidan's tennis matchday shirt sleeve sponsor for the tournament.
Aidan, who plays tennis with Giffnock Tennis, Squash and Hockey Club in Scotland, said: “It was fantastic to be at the Australian Open with the help of Ideagen. Their generosity helped make this happen and will ensure learning difficulty tennis in Britain receives the sort of attention that it deserves.”
Together with his Men’s Doubles partner, Oliver Beadle, Aidan clinched the 2024 Australian Open PWII runners-up spot in an intense final match against Australia's Mitchell James and Damian Phillips. Team GB secured their victory with a 3-6, 7-5, 10-7 win.

The Players with Intellectual Impairments (PWII) Championships took place at Melbourne Park as part of the Australian Open championship.
