Ideagen launches Pentana Assurance Suite

The new offering will see Ideagen’s Covalent and Pentana products rebranded as part of the Pentana Assurance Suite
Ideagen, the provider of audit, risk and performance management software, is to launch a new product suite to provide organisations with a complete corporate compliance and oversight offering comprising:
- Pentana Audit
- Pentana Performance (previously known as Covalent)
- Pentana Disclose
The new Pentana Assurance Suite will allow Ideagen to present the audit and risk management capabilities within its Pentana and Covalent software in a more aligned way.
Pentana is Ideagen’s internal audit software application and is used by over 450 clients globally. It offers a complete solution for risk-based auditing.
Covalent is a cloud-based performance and risk management software application that provides complete, real-time visibility and control of every aspect of strategic and operational performance and risk.
Under the newly launched Pentana Assurance Suite, Pentana will be rebranded as Pentana Audit while Covalent will become Pentana Performance. The suite is completed by Pentana Disclose, the organisation’s financial disclosure checklist software. All three products will still be available separately but in future will also offer points of integration and a convergence of look and feel.
Reasons for the Change
Ken Ebbage (pictured right), Ideagen’s Product Manager for Pentana Assurance Suite, said: “The launch of the Pentana Assurance Suite consolidates our efforts in creating a functionally complete and market leading internal audit, compliance and oversight software suite. It enables us to align the audit and risk strengths of Pentana with the performance management capabilities of Covalent such as KPI tracking and dashboards, strategic risk, policy management, appraisals, and reporting.
