Community spirit shines at the 2024 Rudd Awards

Ideagen put its ‘Community’ value into action recently, celebrating the achievements of young people living close to our UK headquarters.
Ottillie and Emmeline Jones (14) received this year’s 2024 Rudd Awards 'Young Star' award in recognition of their leadership and volunteering accomplishments, which have inspired young people locally.
Ideagen representatives Stanley Paton-Rawthorne and Josh Whitehead attended the ceremony to congratulate the winners, along with runner-up Amy Ratcliffe-Pugh and highly commended nominee Billy-Scott Ladkin.
Organized by the Ruddington Village Community Partnership (RVCP), the 2024 Rudd Awards celebrate individuals, groups and businesses making a big impact on the Ruddington community.
Six award categories were sponsored by local businesses, including Ideagen, which once again sponsored the 'Young Star' award.

Earlier this year, Ruddington residents and visitors submitted over 250 nominations across the six categories, highlighting their favorites and providing reasons for their choices. A local, independent judging panel then selected the shortlist.
Mike Ader, Chair of RVCP, added: "The night proved to be a wonderful celebration of our vibrant and thriving village. The committee and judging panel were humbled by the calibre and range of nominations received and the true sense of pride in our local community.
"Choosing our finalists was an extremely difficult challenge, and the passion and dedication displayed by all of the individuals, businesses and community groups nominated is not to be underestimated. I extend my congratulations to every nominee and those recognized on the night."
